You want to beat Scrin to your superweapon. The moment your Tech Centre goes up, begin building an Ion Cannon Control. This stops all Nod units from landing in your base. Once your Command Post is in place, build six AA Batteries and space them evenly along the north of your corner. There isn't an immediate rush to do this, but it secures your base against Scrin. Kill the Scrin Mastermind which is teleporting units across the chasm. Some way into this process, you'll get your first bonus objective. While this is going on, train a Surveyor and have it unpack close to the northern edge of your corner fortress. Quickly set up a Crane and then begin work on one of every building. You can stop this later, but for now focus on building a base.

Scrin, on the other hand, have the ability to teleport units across the glacier. Fortunately, you have a Tiberium glacier surrounding your base which prevents anything but Nod Aircraft from reaching you. These should be enough to protect you while you get ready.
